For those of you who wish to run I will be in the Parkway on Mon, Wed and Thur this week. We will be done by 5:00. Phil Rector is running this week if anyone is looking for a ride.

It is supposed to be warm this week so take advantage of the opportunity to get out and run.

Winter Track, Thanksgiving, Alumni

People

Happy Thanksgiving! After all you eat today make sure you get some exercise tomorrow to burn off those candied yams.

We will be working out this week after school in the Parkway we will be done no later than 5:00.

Winter Track or Indoor Track
If you are a member of the Cross Country Team or Track & Field Team you can be involved in Winter Track.

Most of our practices will be outdoors as CCHS has no indoor track and gym time is really hard to come by. Most of the meets are at local colleges and are on the weekends.

If you are interested please e-mail me your interest.

Alumni

While in the Parkway yesterday I saw Drew Parassio he is living in Baltimore where he is a sales rep for a bread company. Drew still holds the CCHS record for the Javelin and the High Jump. Drew is involved with the Loyola Crew team. Drew graduated from St. Joseph’s where he rowed. Drew says he is also heavily involved in recreational sports including kickball. I also saw Jared Markowitz who was out for a run with the “boys”. Jared as you may recall is a graduate student at MIT. Which I think is really good because I don’t think I can spell MIT.

If any Alumni are reading this drop me an e-mail and let me know how you are doing and what you are doing.

Anna Markowitz, Maureen McCarthy, Steph Roghman ran in the D-III regionals this weekend. Frances Koons finished 4th in her regional and helped her team qualify for nationals. Mary Bacher ran for Bloomsburg last weekend in the D-II regionals.
