Went hiking with some of the alumni today.  Phil Wagner who is at Dartmouth and doing quite well there, Phil Rector who is now running for Slippery Rock, Mike Tax who is at West Point and will be going over to Germany soon on an exchange program, Dan Ahn who is at Pitt (his father just bought a Vette.)  also going with us was Mike’s dad and Sean another cadet at West Point.  Missing this year was Matt Booth who is still in Australia wrestling crocs.  Also Kevin McFadden could not be with us because of the passing of his Grandfather.

We go on a hike every Friday after thanksgiving.  Feel free to join us next year.  This is only open to Alumni their friends and family.

Reminder next conditioning session Monday 9:00 @ Lehigh U.

The weight loss now stands @ 25lbs.  I still have a long way to go before I can wear tights to practice.

POT LUCK

We had our Pot Luck Dinner last night and it was great.  It is a bit sad to know that the seniors will not be with us next year. 

Thank you for your very kind gifts for me and Coach O’Leary.

Our own Frances Koons won the Mid Atlantic NCAA regional meet this past Saturday.  My wife and I attended the meet and it was great to see one of own do so well.

Next up is Mo Watson running at DII nationals on Saturday and Franny runs on the 20th at DI nationals.

 INDOOR TRACK

If you are interested in indoor the first practice will be on Monday Nov. 20th in the Parkway.  We will practice right after school so get there as soon as you can. We will be done by 5:00.

It was different being at States with only one runner.  If we are to change that we need to work hard and we cannot start in July.  It will take a sustained effort over the next 11 months to achieve what we want.

Pot Luck Dinner

The Pot Luck Dinner is next Sunday.  So far only half the team has responded.  Please get your reservations into me any morning this week during homeroom.

MO and Franny

Two of our Alumni have been burning up the XC courses for their colleges.  Franny has won the Paul Short Invitational, placed second at the Pre-National meet in Indiana and won the Big East title.  Mo Watson has been moving up on her team and this past weekend helped KU win the NCAA D-II regionals for the first time ever.  She will be running in the National meet in two weeks in Florida.  Mo made the all regional team.
